- DON’T THROW THOSE COUPONS AWAY! If you have no desire to become a couponer, but you get the Sunday paper, PLEASE get your coupons to us somehow!! And if you don’t get the Sunday paper and you don’t want to coupon, but want to help in some way, BUY a Sunday paper and give us the coupons! You won’t believe how much help you will be. We need Smart Source, Red Plum, and Proctor and Gamble (P & G) coupon booklets. (Coupons can be dropped off at Discovery Fellowship Church, 6630 Brittany Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80525.)
- Learn to be a couponer! Super couponing is a great way to lower your grocery bill and you get so much free stuff, that your EXTRA free stuff can be donated to Coupons for the Community. That is how this ministry got started! Why would you have EXTRA free stuff? You would be suprised and how much you can get free that you wouldn't use in your household but can't help getting since it is free and available.
- Become a volunteer. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Running around to six different stores each week with two young children can be hard. Ideally, it would be awesome to see different people assigned to each store so that they can each "master" that store's couponing policies, etc. Then they can find the deals for that store, come and get the coupons, and shop 'til they drop. You can really get to know the people who work at a store and when they know what you are doing this for, they are very friendly, making the experience even more rewarding!
- C4C also welcomes donations in the form of non-perishable items (food, toiletries, etc., as well as cash donations). These can also be dropped off at Discovery Fellowship Church, 6630 Brittany Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
Coupons for the Community
This blog is for showing the goods gotten for free (or really cheap) using coupons that were provided by friends and family. These goods are then distributed to people in our community to whom I feel God has called me to serve for one reason or another. I am not a writer of any sort, a super couponer, or a very good blogger. I am just a child of God trying to follow what I believe He has called me to do. Whatever God has put on my heart on a certain day is what comes out in a post, so I hope it makes some sense and is not offensive or scrambled. If it is, it is only because I am a work in progress. Love to all, In His Name.
